Behold! Proof!

Now, I was going to upload and post a nice 6 pictures, but alas, I am on dial up, and when I attempted to upload 6, the computer did not comply. So, it'll be one picture per day until I get to England, where the high-speed is.

As for that one picture for today... it's a bridge at The Hermitage, found on the A9, a few hundred yards north of Dunkeld. It was actually taken by Granddad, because nothing here is open on Sundays or at night, so my pictures are yet to be developed. You'll have them soon enough. :P I deviously converted this one to black and white (as a copy, of course).

Oooh, Aaaah, Preeeetty.

Anyway, now for the update.

Yesterday, I woke up at 9 (go me!). We drove up to Glamis Castle (pronounced 'Glams'), took some pictures, took the tour... That castle is pretty cool, though admittedly I would have liked it much better had we been allowed to go down through the framework of tunnels and not-so-pretty stuff and twisting passages that I know is there, and was calling out to me. *sigh* Can't have everything, I suppose.

Then we drove up to Brechin, to see my Great-Granddad, as well as Auntie Jo and Uncle Bob (actually Great-Great's, both of them). Good fun enough, plus now I'm twenty quid richer. Then Granddad and I went out to take more pictures. I got some interesting ones of a graveyard, a cathedral, and... well, I'll leave the rest up to your imagination. Then we ended up smack-dab as far as we could be from the house while still being in the Brechin city limits. It was a good two mile hike back, and mostly uphill, too.

We've done nothing today, so I guess I'll leave that for later today or tomorrow.

Oooooo, Very Preeeeeetty, Patrick... I wonder if there is a way to "solidify" the picture within your post template though, so the ghostie picture in your background doesn't show through as much?

Probably not... I'm probably just wishing for HTML tools that are not available yet again. LOL

Poor me... full of wishings but too impatient to figure out how to make them come true. sigh. ;-)

I'm very glad you are having a good time though. And just for comparison... today on my plate are bills, laundry and Sylvan. Fun, no?

Love,
Mom :-)

I'm posting in anonymous because I forgot my blogger username and crap. I know. I'm a dork.

Sorry I haven't commented for a while. Sounds like you're having a really great time in the Scotland. I wish you could've found some way to smuggle me in your suitcase or something.

While you've been gone, I've been bored and major drama queenish. Again. But don't let that ruin your trip. I'll prob'lly snap right out of it like I usually do.

Hurry back home so I can be envious of you in real time.
