My inner clock is so screwed. I left the house at about 9.30, arrived at the airport around 11.00, got on the plane to Newark, all pretty uneventful. The unaccompanied minor staff is a little slow, but no big deals there... just a hell of a wait, then back on another plane to Glasgow. Last flight over, we had individual tv screens in the backs of the seats in front of everybody... not on this one. :( They just popped out of the ceiling. Sad. So, after being mildly entertained by the in-flight movie (Miss Congeniality >_>), I was ready to go to sleep, but then I looked out the window, and there was the Aurora Borealis, a.k.a. the Northern Lights, which up until this point I had never seen before. It just so happened I was in the window seat facing north, so that distracted me for a good while. I finally went to sleep, for about an hour and a half. Then it was time for breakfast. Then the landing card--just a bit confusing, but I made it through. And then I was on the ground. It was 8.00 in the morning, but in Indiana it was 2 am, but in my head if was 4.00pm. I was kind of in zombie mode. We came home, went out to Tesco to buy a few things, and I came home and slept for a few hours. Then I woke up at 4.00 or so, and it felt like 8.00 am. We ate dinner (steak pie--yum!), then went out to the mall in stirling to buy Harry Potter for my Granddad, and a couple other books for various people (I got "The Magician's Guild" or something of the sort), then went on a wee drive around the region. Now it's 8.00 pm, my head feels like it's 6.00 pm, and the sun is still at about... 5.30. Won't get dark until about 10, this far north. But my inner clock is slowly but surely returning to normal... We'll see how it is when I get up in the morning.
Haven't really had any time to do anything noteworthy yet, considering I'm still jet-lagged. I think we're planning on doing something tomorrow, and I'm pretty sure I knew what that was at some point, but I don't know. *shrug*
Anyway, that's about it.
