So I hate technology. And it kinda drives me crazy. But that doesn't mean I can't be addicted to it.
I am in Chicago for the first time in my life. I've never stayed here, flown through here, or even flown over here. And now I'm in the Best Western at O'Hare. Sweeeeet. So, basically, we got to drive through the majority of Chicago, experiencing all sorts of lovely chemical storage tanks, slums covered in chinese symbols, identical skyscrapers, 12 lanes of bumper-to-bumper traffic, and now that we're here, the occasional plane flying overhead every five minutes. Yes, it is as bad as all that. Yes, I am still completely enamored.
We drove past the Sears Tower, and the surrounding hills of skyscrapers and 'low-rise' 40-story buildings. It was very hard to keep my eyes away. This is, of course, my first time actually staying in a city of over one million people. Hell, I can gawk if I want to.
Now, obviously, we have wi-fi and a laptop we brought along. Actually, we don't know if it's actually best western's wi-fi, because the signal is 2 out of 5 for security, and signal strength is 'very low.' But hey. It's the internet. It's essential.
Anyway, I'll check in later after I've actually done something.
